Update: As noted on twitter, the 7×20 fall contest did not receive enough entries to continue. Thank you, however, to everyone who did enter! We’ll try again with a winter contest in January/February 2015!
This week, 7×20 will host its quarterly seasonal contest, this one with the theme of fall.
The details are as follows.
What: Tweet-length fiction and poetry addressing the theme of fall. You may submit up to three works.
Who: Anyone, anywhere.* International entries are welcomed and encouraged. Writers in the Southern Hemisphere, feel free to give us your take either on fall or September-December.
Where: On twitter, using the hashtag #7x20fall.
When: Between now and 11:59pm EST on
Wednesday, November 26, 2014 Friday, November 28.
Why: For fame and adoration! Also books. The winner will receive a bundle of review copies/back issues in addition to their triumph.
How: Five finalists will be selected by the 7×20 editorial board and posted anonymously to our twitter feed and blog. The winner is determined by popular vote of our readers on Twitter. Each RT or favorite will count as a vote. Readers can vote for as many works as they choose, but obviously have a maximum of two votes per piece.
Questions? Ask them in the comments.
*Past winners may participate, of course, but are ineligible for grand prize.
